Library Programs in Wayne County

Libraries are good for more than books and movies. Most libraries also have amazing children’s activities and events. Here are some at your local library.

Every Tuesday at 1:00 PM there is a preschool story time for children aged three to five.

Every Wednesday at 1:45 there is a Toddler story time for children aged two to three.

Every Thursday at 4:00 PM there is a newly released movie played for children five and up. Free snacks are provided.

Belleville Library has toddler story time for children aged two to four and a family story time for children aged five to 10. They also have a hands-on science program called Science Kidz for children between six and 12-years-old.

Children between two and five-years-old and their caregivers are invited to enjoy simple stories, music, and crafts Thursdays at 10:30 AM. The library also hosts a movie night once a month at 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
